I'm pretty sure this is the right way to read Hamlet. We've been doing it wrong.

  1. I am just checking out your blog today, after reading about it in The Wind. Very interesting! R and G Are Dead is a wonderful way to delve into a little philosophy, after studying the existential tragic hero.
    Dover Beach is one of my favorite poems; I'm glad to see that AP still uses it on the exam. John Donne is another of my favorite poets; I hope the class gets to study some of his poems...

I'm an elementary library media specialist, but I taught A P English and philosophy in high school for twenty five years before becoming a school librarian. I love both careers! Little kids are so wise, but I do miss the truly philosophical discussions that only students your age can really have...You've got a good teacher too !!! Talk to you soon, Mary Ellen
