2) What puzzles (confuses) you about parts of speech?
3) What would you like to know more about parts of speech?

  1. 1. I think I know how to tell the difference between the different parts of speech. 2. The different exceptions there are to the basic rules of it are what puzzles me about parts of speech. 3. Whatever the teacher has to teach, I'm willing to try to learn and understand it.

  3. I think I know how too identify and use most of the different parts of speech in a sentence. Something that puzzles me about parts of speech is how to tell the difference between an adverb and an adjective when there are multiple in a sentence. Something about parts of speech I would like to know is if there are any other parts of speech that we haven't learned about already.

  4. I think I know how most parts of speech works such as verbs are action words and pronouns are words that take the place of a noun.

I do not think anything is puzzling me at the moment about parts of speech.

I would like to work more with prepositions and articles.

  5. 1) I think that I understand most of the parts of speech. I understand how nouns and verbs can be turned into adjectives because of the following noun.
    2) Sometimes prepositions confuse me, I sometimes get confused with adverbs. I mix the two up a lot.
    3) I would like to get more information on adverbs and prepositions.

  6. 1. I think that I can identify most nouns that pop up in text. Most verbs I think I can identify as well. I think I have most all of the parts of speech down, but sometimes get simple words mixed up.
    2. The biggest thing that confuses me with grammar is when words switch their part of speech. For example the other day in class there was a sentence with "skating rink" in it, so I thought that skating rink was a noun and they were both a noun because its a place, but skating was an adjective to the noun rink.
    3. I'd like to know more about how parts of speech switch like what I put in part 2.

  7. 1. I know that sometimes nouns are adjectives when they are used to describe other nouns such as with the words football field, football is a noun but it is describing what type of field it is so it's an adjective.
    2. Sometimes I get prepositions and articles confused.
    3. I would like to know more on how articles and prepositions are used.
